Breakout into using Twitter Traffic Today!

Today's tip is all about Twitter traffic...

Breakout into using Twitter Traffic
Some people are afraid of using Twitter for marketing because they think it's difficult, when in reality its actually very easy. But there are a few things that I want to make you aware of before you get started. Twitter is a FREE service (and you know by now that I like free marketing sources) but just because it's free does not mean that you will not do have to do any work! With Twitter, you need to create a strategic marketing plan, the same way you do with anything else if you want to yield any type of results from your efforts. If done properly, Twitter is an excellent social marketing tool for you to use and again it's FREE!

One of the most challenging things about marketing on Twitter is that you have to approach it in a totally different way then the other social networks. If you're new to Twitter then you will quickly find that what makes it unique from your other forms of social marketing is that you must get your complete message out in less than 140 characters. Sounds like fun huh? This means you must keep your posts extremely short - so that means no rambling. You need to get to the point and do so in a way that peeks your followers interest and makes them want to click on your link to your product or service - and yes that link has to be part of the 140 characters too!

It's a very good idea to keep up with what's going on with your "peeps" on Twitter daily and respond to messages that your followers post. I have my messages set up to come to my phone every 15 minutes so I can try to respond within a few hours.

By interacting with your followers directly, you can establish friendships and business relationships and this part is very important to your business growth. For example - I have a loyal group of followers who "re-tweet" (RT) my messages and once you begin your marketing campaign you will find that yours will do the same too. Just be sure to reciprocate when the opportunity arises. This allows you all to potentially reach a wider audience and build a larger following!

That's it for today's tip.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% sure. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it
